CCA are excited to announce the next Silver Lining Lunch event in Sydney on Wednesday 4th December!
This is an opportunity to enjoy a 2-course lunch at Doltone House, overlooking Hyde Park whilst listening to special guest speaker Ally Bain (pictured right).
Ally is a disability rights attorney in the United States, and she is the Ally behind “Ally’s Law,” otherwise known as the Restroom Access Act. The Act states that anyone with a medical emergency – such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis – must be allowed access to an employee-only restroom in a retail establishment when a public facility is not available.
Ally and her mother were successful in advocating for this law in the US and we are privileged to have Ally at the Silver Lining Lunch Sydney to tell us her story.
Hosted by Dr Crispin Corte, Specialist Gastroenterologist, the Silver Lining Lunch is also a great opportunity to network with like-minded professionals and valued members of the Crohn’s and colitis community.
Date: Wednesday 4th December 2019
Venue: Doltone House Hyde Park
3/181 Elizabeth Street Sydney
Emcee: Dr Crispin Corte, Specialist Gastroenterologist
Special guest speaker: Ally Bain (Ally’s Law advocate)
