Taylor’s Chop for Crohn’s & Colitis
Many thanks to Taylor Corey who has so far raised $2177.09 sacrificing her long hair to raise money for Crohn’s & Colitis Australia.
Taylor, 21, has lived with Crohn’s disease for almost 10 years.
“I have tried almost every treatment available and I am getting to the point where there are almost no more options. I am a nurse working in an endoscopy unit (ironic right) and see so many people like myself suffering from this awful disease.
I have just recently had over a week in hospital for intensive treatment due to a very serious flair up and systemic infection. Being the person I am I choose not to dwell on the dark side and would rather do everything I can to give back and help other people like myself get through, so I have been rallying to fund raise for Crohn’s &Colitis Australia to raise a lot of money for research. I have pledged that when I reach $1000 I will be cutting off all my hair… I am so determined to raise miles past this amount and hopefully to $5000 and hope everyone can dig deep and contribute to this very important cause!”
Taylor says she loves her new look and is hopeful of reaching her $5000 goal. Thank you so much Taylor!
