What is Youth Empowerment Program (YEP!)?
A one- day youth led program designed to empower young adults living with IBD.

This unique program will bring together a professional IBD advocate speaker and mentors from the CCA community who will share their experiences to mentor and guide their younger peers in managing their condition throughout key stages of adolescent life.

This year’s advocate speaker is Luke Escombe, an award-winning singer-songwriter, blues guitarist, comedian and health advocate. He is a proud ambassador for Crohn’s & Colitis Australia and a finalist in the ‘Hilarious Patient Leader’ category of the 2017 WEGO Health Awards.

Participants will also have the opportunity to get involved in a fun workshop organised by the talented team at Aerialize.

Some of the activities lined up for attendees include acro-balance & acrobatics, aerials, tight rope, trapeze, juggling, hula hoops, devil sticks and more.
