Workplace giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for employees to donate regularly to Crohn’s & Colitis Australia. It is voluntary and simply involves employees nominating a charity and the amount per month they would like to donate. The deduction is then made through the company’s payroll system. The pledge can be anything from a couple of dollars to several hundred per month.

Crohn’s & Colitis Australia is a registered charity with CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) workplace payroll giving program.

The CAF website and the Australian Tax Office website provide extensive information on workplace giving and matched giving for both employers and employees.

Matched giving

When an organisation matches its employees’ contributions, employees know their charitable donations go further and that their commitment to community development is a value shared by their employer. The simplicity and effectiveness of this type of program is reflected in the growing popularity in Australia. Matching can be all or a percentage of the donations raised by a company’s employees.
