CCA receives very little government funding and relies on the generosity of the community to raise much needed funds so we can continue to provide support services and invest in research.

Membership
CCA membership allows you to stay up-to-date with the latest news and research, add your voice to the campaign to improve treatment and find a cure, and learn how to manage your IBD – as well as a range of benefits to empower you to live fearlessly.
Volunteer
Volunteers are an integral part of the CCA community and are located across Australia. By dedicating a few hours on a one-off or regular basis, our volunteers provide valued support to the IBD community.
There are many different ways to volunteer with Crohn’s & Colitis Australia based on your interests, experience or skills you have.
Advocate
Improving IBD care across Australia begins with raising awareness of the condition. Your voice can make a difference.
Awareness Month
Each May is a chance for Australians to understand a little more about what it is like to live with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Many people living with these illnesses stay silent about the day-to-day issues they face but during May, we can help them speak up.
Current Research
CCA supports research through encouraging members to participate in clinical trials, advertised in our member magazine and here on our website.
Trials range from drug therapy and dietary investigations, to population surveys to discover commonality and genetic predisposition.
Container Recycling Program
There are a number of refund recycling schemes across the country that provide charities and community groups with the opportunity to raise funds on an ongoing basis.
When you recycle eligible containers via the refund point, you have the option of donating the 10-cent refund per eligible item to CCA. Your donation helps us provide essential services, raises awareness, funds research scholarships, and much more. Meanwhile, the scheme itself also encourages environmental sustainability.
