Crohn’s & Colitis Australia’s primary purpose is to provide support services, advice and encouragement to people suffering from IBD.
About the Role
Crohn’s & Colitis Australia is seeking a dynamic and creative person who will be responsible for building CCA’s fundraising and events program. The Fundraising and Events Coordinator will be responsible for growing fundraising income through the development and implementation of a broad range of fundraising and engagement initiatives including community fundraising, foundation grants, appeal campaigns, donor communications and events.
This position will identify opportunities to grow existing programs, and develop new programs to increase CCA’s funding base as well as develop and maintain fundraising processes and plans (including promotional plans), provide administrative support and undertake regular analysis and reporting.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail and have knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. Proven experience in community fundraising, utilising digital platforms for fundraising and an ability to manage multiple projects and timelines will set you apart from the crowd.
Working alongside a small and dedicated team, your positive outlook, ability to build rapport, inspire others to achieve targets and raise critical funds for CCA will see you succeed in this role and take your career to the next level.

- Strong understanding of best practice volunteer management

About The Role
Crohn’s & Colitis Australia is seeking a dynamic and customer service focussed Programs & Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our small energetic team to oversee the programs and volunteer coordination .
This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic and operational support and direction to programs integral to the mission of CCA, many of which are supported by a large team of volunteers. You will be a self starter with excellent people skills and knowledge of the not-for-profit sector.
As the Programs & Volunteer Co-ordinator, you will be working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Manager, Marketing, Communication and Fundraising to:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Volunteer Framework
- Manage and execute programs, in line with CCA mission
- Recruit, train and manage teams of volunteers
- Implement and analyse effective reports and activities
Experience and skills required
- Previous experience in a counselling or psychology role
- Project management skills including delivering results and time management
- Excellent relationship building skills and sound customer service ability
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Health related or Volunteer Management discipline
