CCA is a registered national charity, whose mission is to support the Crohn's and colitis community with a focus on confidential support programs including education, advocacy, counselling, increasing awareness and generating and utilising funds for research and support. The organisation is entirely funded through sponsorship, memberships and donations.

There are currently 61,000 Australians living with IBD costing the community $2.7 billion annually. The majority of these costs are due to loss of well being and productivity. As a young person's disease, 75% of people living with IBD are of working age and due to their symptoms and misunderstanding in the workplace, they endure financial hardship, missed career opportunities, loss of income, anxiety and associated depression.

CCA is working towards changing the current situation, but we cannot do this on our own. We need the help of corporate sponsors to provide this silent population the care, support and information that will improve their quality of life.

CCA has a range of Sponsorship Opportunities available. Please contact the CCA Sponsorship and Fundraising Manager on 1800 138 029 to obtain a copy of Sponsorship Opportunities 2009.
