IBD Helpline
The IBD Helpline is a free national telephone service we offer that provides support, information, counselling and referrals for those living with IBD, and interested parties.
It is NOT a 24/7 Crisis Line offering immediate help to people in emotional or medical crisis. CCA advises that if there is an emergency, please contact your nearest hospital or local GP.
Specifically, our IBD Help line provides

Access to an experienced volunteer counsellor for emotional support and coping strategies

Referrals to dietitians, psychologists, gastroenterologists, hospitals, and other relevant services

Access to an IBD Nurse for specific medical questions

Information on overseas travel in relation to your IBD
