CCA does not receive any government funding and must rely completely on membership and fundraising activities to provide support services and raise money for research. Organising your own fundraising event is a very rewarding way of raising money and awareness of IBD. Enthusiasm and organisation are the key to a successful event. You will be helping to raise funds in support of CCA and also be raising much needed awareness of IBD in the general community. To find out more go to our Changing Lives Challenge Page. CCA has wonderful members who volunteer to fundraise on a regular basis and we encourage you to run your own event, or participate in an event being held in your state. Workplace giving
Workplace Payroll Giving (WPG) is a regular donation made by an employee each month from their pre-tax salary. The benefit of this program is that you receive the tax benefit from your donation immediately, without having to wait until tax time.
Find out from your employer if they take part in a WPG program. If they do, ask for CCA to be added to the list of charities employees can donate to. If they don't, why not suggest they help their employees support the causes that are important to them by taking part in WPG?
CCA, in conjunction with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), can assist employers in the implementation and development of WPG and maintain all back-office administration to minimise costs for all those involved.
