Youth Camps
One of CCA's most popular and well-utilised services is its youth support camp program. The free camps are for teens aged between 13 and 18 who are living with IBD. The camps enourage young people to come together and share their experiences in a supportive and age-appropriate environment. The teens enjoy high-quality meals and accommodation, a wide range of activities, and access to information sessions with health professionals and motivational speakers.
Camps have so far been held in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. The two NSW camps also incorporated teens' parents and sibilings, who enjoyed their own activities and educational sessions.
