Bernadette Or

Bernadette Or - Chairperson

Bernadette, a CPA, is an experienced senior finance executive with over 10 years experience in large corporates such as KFC, P&O and Standards Australia. In recent years she was the CFO/COO of the Starlight Children's Foundation, the Enterprise and Career Education Foundation and the Australian Human Resources Institute. Her experience includes IT, HR, Legal and Risk Management.

Jonathan Epstein - Treasurer

Jonathan is a senior analyst in the Future Fund’s Private Markets team. Prior to this, Jonathan was a senior adviser to the former Federal Treasurer, Peter Costello, and also worked in a number of government policy-related roles, including the Commonwealth Treasury and Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet.


 

Greg Moore - Director

Dr Moore is an IBD specialist gastroenterologist.  Dr Moore founded the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Unit at Monash Medical Centre in 2006, and oversees a specialised IBD clinic.  He co-ordinates a busy clinical trials unit, undertakes ongoing research and combines private practice and undergraduate and post-graduate teaching.  He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Medicine Monash University and supervises research students.

Dr Moore is also a member of Australian Inflammatory Bowel Disease Association, the peak medical IBD group, and is a sought after speaker at both scientific and public forums. 

Francesca Manglaviti

Francesca Manglaviti - Chief Executive Officer, Director

Francesca Joined the CCA Board of Directors in 2008, having spent three years as the organisations Chief Executive Officer. Francesca has held senior management positions in not for profit, commercial and government organisations. She offers significant experience in strategic planning, liaison with government, stakeholder management, education and developing organisational capacity.

Anita Reilly - Director

Anita is the State Co-ordinator of CCA (Qld), a role that she took on following the 2009 merger of CCA and the Australian Crohn's & Colitis Association (Queensland) Inc., an organisation she had been involved in running for almost 20 years as President and in a combined role of manager and administration and support officer. Those years of work and her current role are carried out in a fully voluntary basis and the experience she has gained from operating a support group has allowed Anita to develop an intimate knowledge of IBD and many of the issues and problems affecting individuals and their families. Her interest in IBD stems from having a son diagnosed with Crohn's disease when he was a young child. Anita is also a co-owner and director of a small business linked to the building and construction industry.

Sophia Tzaferis - Director

Sophia Tzaferis is a senior taxation specialist with Telstra Corporation Limited. Sophia has extensive commercial and consulting experience in the area of taxation. Other areas of interest include corporations law, general commercial law and corporate governance. Prior to joining Telstra, Sophia was employed with Foster's Group Limited, Harwood Andrews Lawyers and Ernst & Young. Sophia is a Chartered Accountant and a practising lawyer.
